Im not sure what company this is but I believe it to be bad.Fletch is a company that provides engines for web applications. One of their applicationsicex was potentially affected by a cross-site scripting XSS attack. Fletch have released a blog post stating that they are working hard to protect their systems and employees from such attacks in the future. However this article just looks at how things went wrong for them.In this particular case the XSS attack happened on an important part of icexs application our Ironically named dealerfinder . The exploit code used in our engine was also potentially impacted by the attack. Our response waspeedily worked around the attack within our security measures but we still lost some money on our sales volume as well as some user data. We are still issues now how we did not take more precautions to protect our users and staff before attacker could execute these scripts inside their looping AI
