Kwantec is an extremely unprofessional company which does not have the best of intentions. They promise a certain level of professionalism but instead deliver nothing more than incompetence. The engineers they hire are usually inexperienced and do not seem to be very interested in their work. Furthermore they often do not keep up with changes in the software industry so their projects often end up failing rather spectacularly. If youre looking for a company that will actually try to help you succeed avoid Kwantec at all costs

I have had the displeasure of working with Kwantec.com in the past. The company is in the business of selling software development tools and their products are very poorly conceived and executed. In particular their nearshore software teams top engineers philosophy seems to be that they are better off not investing time in developing these teams at all - instead they focus on selling their other products which more often than not are less successful than their development tools. Additionally most of the members of this team appear to be lazy and unprofessional. Lastly the companys customer service is terrible - Ive been dealing with them for over a year now and never received a single helpful or informative email from them.

I had tried to find a new job after my return but it was not available. The only possibility is that they lost contact with their legal department and are no longer in business.
