This person has been doing this for years and is completely inept at anything actually like development backends and generally everything around them. Try using a different company and starting out from scratch.

I have had a terrible experience with this company. I first started using their software in 2010 and it has been an absolute disaster. From the moment it was released there was this huge problem with how they were utilizes of memory. If you would take a look on the web you would see articles and videos that show how to fix the problem. But unlike what they say after trying out their software myself and I am not a student I found that the software was much more reliable than the ones from other companies. It is very easy to use and once you get used to the way it works it is a breeze to work with. The only thing I could say wrong about their software is that they are not very responsive to feedback or suggestions. Any time I have needed to ask for help or something they have always risen to the challenge and given me an idea for where to improve my application.I have had a terrible experience with this company.
